The 2026 Volkswagen Transporter Sportline is the new flagship model in the Transporter range, created to celebrate 75 years of the Volkswagen Bus, and more than two decades of Sportline performance vans. Positioned as the most premium and emotionally expressive Transporter to date, Sportline combines distinctive design, enhanced dynamics and a high level of standard technology, while retaining full commercial capability. Visually, the Transporter Sportline is defined by exclusive exterior styling designed to give it a purposeful, performance-led stance. It features Sportline-specific front and rear bumpers, a gloss black grille with a signature red accent line, gloss black mirror caps, side skirts and roof rails, plus a sport-profile rear spoiler. The van sits 29mm lower than standard thanks to Eibach lowering springs, enhancing both its appearance and on-road dynamics. Exclusive 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with Sportline centre caps, and IQ Light Matrix LED headlights complete the exterior specification. Inside, Sportline adopts a premium, driver-focused cabin. Standard features include hand-crafted eco-leather sports seats embossed with Sportline branding and finished with red contrast stitching, a heated leather steering wheel, Sportline floor mats, illuminated metal scuff plates and footwell lighting. In terms of technology and safety, the Transporter Sportline comes comprehensively equipped as standard. Key features include Keyless Access with SAFELOCK, an Area View 360-degree camera system, heated and power-folding exterior mirrors, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems designed to support both everyday driving and commercial use. The Transporter Sportline is available in panel van and five-seat Kombi configurations, with both short and long wheelbase options.
