No input mixing is a technique pioneered by Toshimaru Nakamura, which involves using feedback to turn a normal audio mixer into a chaotic, noisy, synth-like musical instrument. In this video I’ll take a look at expanding a typical no input mixer setup by adding different guitar and vocal FX pedals into the signal path, to see how they respond to no input feedback patching and what kinds of sounds we can get out of them.
