Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Frosty and frigid conditions tonight

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Oct. 9, 2025: Conditions will get frosty tonight for all of Northeast Ohio. High pressure will be overhead and move to the east. The heart of the coldest temperatures are expected to be east of the area. Clear skies and calming wind will take over tonight. These conditions will give way to efficient radiational cooling. The NWS has extended the Frost Advisories for most of the area, Isolated communities in Ashtabula and Trumbull counties could plunge into frigid temperatures before daybreak. Once we get the frosty air out through the morning we we recover into the upper 60s. Clouds will move in before sunset Friday and linger overnight. Our next storm system will tracking across the Great Lakes Saturday. A few showers will be likely through the afternoon as this system weakens and pivots to the east, A few clouds will linger Sunday with seasonal temperatures.
