NorthStar Generator Leaking Oil - Easy Fix or Major Problem?

I found this high end NorthStar generator on Facebook for only $100. According to the seller, its been sitting for a while and has an oil leak. Hopefully the oil leak is the only problem. Generator Model: NorthStar 10000 PPG Briggs Vanguard V-Twin Engine Model: 303447-1042-E1 DOM: 7/27/1999 I no longer use Harbor Freight Super Heavy Duty Degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results.
