The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first operational jet fighter aircraft, and would see service with the German forces towards the end of the Second World War. Join me on the workbench in this video as I build and review the Revell Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a plastic model kit (04166) in 1/72 scale. Whilst this is not a particularly recent tooling and does have a number of shortcomings, with a little work I still found this to be a fairly enjoyable build with some good features. During this build I explore the construction of the model, the application of the paint scheme, the quality of the decals and round off the video with my thoughts at the end.
