A family run agricultural contracting/ stake farming business in Mid/ North Devon spread across over 2500 acres of land. The first proper footage of the new John Deere 9700i forager in action! Blowing grass into the 8R370 and 6R250 for fresh grass feeding in to the AD plant. Harry is mowing in the John Deere 6R250 and the Triple Pottinger Mowers grouping the grass into rows that the forager can pick up directly without the need for the rake! I (Tom) drop Will in to the Vervaet 617 beet harvester in Exeter to dig beet for the customer. But quickly I have to return as it’s broken down. The rest of the guys are continuing to spread digestate fibre and Andrew starts some ploughing for ground going into a maize crop! But he also breaks down come the afternoon! Farming is tough enough without all of the breakdowns slowing us down!
