how to make tender pork chops[ASMR] Ingredients: • 700g pork (shoulder or loin) • 25g ginger • 6 garlic cloves • 12 pineapple chunks • 1/2 onion • a bit of scallion (optional) Marinade: • Mix pork with ginger, garlic • 1 tbsp rice wine, 1 tbsp light soy sauce • 1/8 tsp salt, 2 tsp cornstarch, 30ml water • Stir until absorbed • Add 2 tsp oil and marinate for 20 mins. Sauce: • 1 tbsp rice wine, 2 tsp light soy sauce • 2 tsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp black pepper • 1/8 tsp salt, and 100ml water Cooking: 1. Pan-fry pork until golden brown on both sides. 2. Stir-fry onion and ginger, add 6 pineapple chunks, cook until slightly soft. 3. Add pork and sauce, cover and simmer on low for 10 mins. 4. Stir in cornstarch slurry (2 tsp cornstarch + 50ml water). 5. Add the rest of the pineapple, mix well, and finish with scallions. 💡 Tip: 1 tsp = 5ml, 1 tbsp = 15ml
