MasterChef Canada: Back to Win S07 E05 Full Episode: The chefs faced a mystery box challenge, in which they had one hour to bring a modern twist to classic comfort dishes using only plant-based ingredients. Andrew’s peaches and cream dessert was absolutely raved and deemed the best dish of the night and he received a big advantage in the following challenge. Jeremy’s "pork" lumpia, Andy’s chocolate and black bean cake, Thea’s stuffed agnolotti, and Christopher’s coconut tofu pudding were all liked. Andre’s Jamaican "chorizo" patties had dry fillings, while Mai’s sweet carrot cake dumplings were unappealing in colours. The worst two dishes were Barrie’s bland and pale Mediterranean pie and Marissa’s gummy kofta. Barrie was sent home once again, this time for good.
