About

Celebrating the world's most characterful cars via video. Bio Best known for founding evo magazine with a group of talented motoring journalists back in 1998 which, much to our surprise, went on to become a global player in the automotive media arena. Also wrote stuff for Octane Magazine and Sunday Times. Left evo in September 2013 and became an outside advisor to Jaguar Land Rover 2013-18, helping JLR set up Special Operations. Hooked on cars from an early age, although my first love was motorbikes, the first one arriving when I was 11. Swapped to 4-wheels when I turned 17 and have been lucky enough to have owned or driven almost every interesting car ever made. This YouTube channel is my way of sharing this passion for all things motoring with an equally passionate audience. Video Description

Porsche built 1580 examples of the Porsche 911 2.7RS back in 1972-1973 but only 200 of those were the lightweight versions and this is one of them. In this video I delve into the details to see why it's so highly regarded and how Porsche made it such a lightweight.
