View ChannelAbout
What we're about! Rust and C++ Cardiff is a meetup group for high performance programming language enthusiasts - beginners and seasoned developers from all fields. We are a group of developers, mainly from Esri, who encourage the community to nerd out at workshops and give talks to each other exploring these constantly evolving technologies. Since the pandemic our meetups have been virtual, and are posting recordings here for anyone who is not able to watch them live! Future meetup links will be shared on twitter and via our meetup.com page! https://www.meetup.com/rust-and-c-plus-plus-in-cardiff/ Big thank you to Esri for sponsoring our meetup!

Video Description
Join us as we work through the excellent Rust for Rustaceans by Jon Gjengset together. The book is an excellent next step for diving that little bit deeper into understanding Rust. To get the most out of these sessions, reading the chapter before hand is strongly recommended, but not required. This session covers Chapter 5: Project Structure. It covers workspaces, conditional compilation, versioning and more. All really essential pieces when working with Rust beyond just single file programs.
