In this video I sort a worn out Takeuchi king post. New ones are now unavailable so this one needed to be repaired. Firstly I line bore the worn holes out back round again. Due to the king post being cast, it's not possible to bore weld the holes like you'd normally do when line boring. So, I made some sleeves to fit instead. These were made from an off cut of 100mm bright rough EN8 in the lathe. The sleeves were then pulled into the freshly bored holes in the king post with the hollow jack. Hope you enjoy the video.
