Welcome to our first-time watching as we react to Ready Player One (2018). This was such an exhilarating journey! Not only did we get some gorgeous visuals and nostalgic references but we also got the heart-pounding/heartwarming tone director Steven Spielberg is know for. Based on Ernest Cline's best-selling novel, "Ready Player One" (2018) transports us to a dystopian future where people escape their harsh realities by entering the OASIS, a vast virtual reality universe. As we follow protagonist Wade Watts on his quest to find the hidden Easter egg left by the OASIS's creator. We had such a blast discovering all of the surprises this film had to offer. From the iconic DeLorean to an entire segment dedicated to the horror classic "The Shinning". Safe to say we absolutely lost it watching this one.
