From fresh paint and a new rug, to a beautiful new lamp and chandeliers, I share the process of transforming a space that sets the tone for the whole home. As always, it’s not just about the end result. I talk openly about the anxieties that come with changing a space you care about, trusting your instincts, and sitting with that in-between stage before everything comes together. Thankfully, the finished hallway feels calm, elegant, and exactly right. I’m also sharing a little book club moment. A few books I’ve read and loved this month, and why they’ve stayed with me. Reading has been a real comfort recently, especially during these grey winter weeks. I also open up about feeling low because of the weather, something many of us struggle with at this time of year. I talk honestly about how it affects me, and the gentle things I do to lift my mood and keep myself steady until brighter days learn to return.
