Generally, their absolute accuracy is not going to be as good a medical scan if you are looking for the most accurate body fat percentage. However, these are very good at relative measurements with proper car. Therefore, if you body fat percentage goes down by 1%, you can be pretty confident that it really did. However, if it says 10% body fat, you cannot trust this fully since the actual fat percentage may differ in a actual full body DEXA scan. This is all because the 8-electrode body fat scale is using body impedance data (resistance across the limbs), and making educated guesses based on your gender, height, age, and weight. It can get pretty close but it wont be exact. See how I test this scale and see if this is the right scale for you.
