Resistor Color coding (3 bands, 4 bands, 5 bands, and 6 bands) has been explained with Examples, What is Resistor Color Code: Resistors are usually very tiny, It is very difficult to print values on them, So color bands are printed to represent the electrical resistance, These color bands are known as resistor color codes. How to read Resistor color codes: To read them, we have to hold the resistor in the correct direction, Generally, the color band placed closest to the lead is considered as the first band and so on. Another way is the extra space between the two bands also indicates the reading direction. Basically, Resistors can have 3, 4, 5 or 6, color bands.
