Restoring a Wonderful Old Drill Press! Worth it? or should've bought new?

Now I just need to make a stand for it and maybe a vintage style control box. Just to add some more info: Paid $200 for the drill press, the VFD was $90, bearings and belt $125 and the paint $40.
