2012-2-6 從古到今 香港開埠初期，「太古」這個地方名還沒有出現。不過，自於百多年前，太古這間老牌英資洋行在?魚涌興建糖廠與船塢，把這一帶孕育成港島其中一個最富裕的地區。 若你經過太古城的太豐路，會發現一塊擁有百年歷史的太古船塢奠基石，它見證著香港造船業的興衰成敗。曾在船塢當過學徒的大學工程師盧覺強，及附近筲箕灣船廠東主，親述昔日種種輝煌歷史。 盛載著香港人不少集體回憶的太古汽水廠，也是源於?魚涌這塊土地。儲汽水蓋掩送大禮、全港搖搖王大賽等推廣意念，一次又一次掀起全港熱潮，箇中不少鮮為人知的故事，仍叫人聽得津津樂道。 今天，糖廠和船塢的原址已變成美侖美奐的商業大廈和中產家庭屋苑，但附近那超過半世紀的舊有員工宿舍，依舊存在，裡面還住著不少前船塢及糖廠的東區人，他們仍能口述當年那段已經封麈的太古歷史。 編導：易詠欣
