Safety First: Child Car Seat Fabrication One of the most impressive features of this build is the custom-engineered seating for their son. To ensure maximum safety, 72 pounds of steel were used to fabricate brackets that are through-bolted to the bus chassis. This allows a standard locking car seat belt to be positioned in the center of the bus—the safest spot for impact protection. Creative Interior Design & Features The Living Area: An L-shaped couch provides separation from the kitchen and converts into a full-size bed. It also hides massive storage underneath. The Wood-Burning Stove: A Cubic Mini Grizzly fireplace is mounted high on a cedar mantle to keep it out of reach of curious pets and toddlers, featuring a custom stainless heat shield and a mosaic leaf tile backsplash. The Kitchen: Designed for real cooking, it features a five-burner stovetop and a large sink that doubles as a toddler bathtub. The Split Bathroom: To avoid the "wet bath" feel, the shower and composting toilet are separated. The shower features a 12-inch roof raise and a 30-inch skylight for a spa-like experience. Master Suite: A queen-sized mattress sits under a skylight for stargazing. The footboard hides a motorized TV lift, balancing beautiful views with modern entertainment.
