Short answer? You don’t. Sustainability isn’t something you buy, it’s something you do. It’s a mindset shift. Some examples? choosing creativity instead of consumption by styling the clothes we already own. choosing to slowly curate items instead of impulsively collecting. But here’s the thing. These mindset shifts are hard because we are wired to make the easiest choice. Shopping is easy. Styling what you already have is harder. But it doesn’t have to be!! I’ve been using an easy concept I call elements of style that breaks fashion down into its most basic bits - so you can be creative with your closet instead of only wearing 20% of it. And if you don’t think everyone can be creative, I am pretty sure the people who come to my live workshops will tell you otherwise. Everyone can be creative, you just need to practice it like a muscle. So what are you waiting for?
