Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Set aside. 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes, until bright green and just tender. Drain well and set aside. 2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes, or until pink and just cooked through. 3. Add the broccoli to the pan and increase the heat to high. Stir-fry for about 1 minute to combine. 4. Give the sauce a quick stir, then pour it into the pan. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 30 seconds, or until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the shrimp and broccoli.
