The Crusaders continued moving into the Asia Minor and had to fight against the forces of the Seljuk Sultan of Rum Kilij Arslan in Dorylaeum (https://youtu.be/irQLNITTqd4) and after the victory over the sultan, the road to Syria was open, leading to the Siege of Antioch in 1097-1098 (https://youtu.be/2yvVPfUpGRc), but the partial victory of the crusaders in this siege was followed by a counter-attack of various Seljuk generals, leading to the biggest battle of the First Crusade - the battle of Antioch (https://youtu.be/ztHyABVByeA). Despite this situation, Crusaders managed to retain some of their unity and continued deeper into Syria, where they fought at Ma'arra.
