The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has always been one of my favorite games of all time. As a result, I always wanted to get around to playing Oblivion at some point to see what the beloved classic had to offer. With the remaster coming out this year, I thought now would be the perfect time to finally give it a try. I went into Oblivion with huge expectations, thinking it would capture the same magic for me that Skyrim did. However, upon playing it, I grew more and more frustrated with some of the game's dated aspects, ultimately causing me to set the game down after 30 hours. While I enjoyed some of my time with Oblivion, I was disappointed that it didn't live up to the expectations Skyrim had set for it in my mind. I realize this is a really beloved game, and I completely get why so many people hold it in such high regard. This video just tries to present my opinion for why Oblivion didn't live up to the unreasonable expectations I had set and why I much prefer Skyrim. Even if you don't agree, I hope you can respect my opinion and get something out of this video. These reviews aren't supposed to be taken too seriously and just serve as a method for me to talk about my feelings about the games I play in an honest and fair manner.
