In preparation for Metal Gear Solid Delta, I decided to finally give the original MGS game a try. I've played lots of Metal Gear across 2, 3, 4, and Rising, but I've always avoided the original. Heck, when it comes to Kojima, I even managed to brave both Death Stranding 1 and 2 this year. In many ways, this is the lone blind spot! Well, after playing it, this is probably the best example of why Kojima gets all the hype he does.
