I hiked deep into the woods, found a beautiful lake for a wild swim, set up camp, and built myself a bushcraft chair. However, as the night progressed, a large group of men arrived nearby and began blasting loud music. What should have been a quiet night alone in nature became something much more uncomfortable, and honestly, frightening. After cooking dinner and trying to settle in for the night, I made the difficult decision to abandon camp at midnight. I didn't feel safe and that's something I never ignore. Always trust your gut. This video is a reminder that your safety always comes first. It's okay to leave and no one is judging you for it!
