Join me right here on @mblydenvlogs as I explore the second day of the vibrant three-day annual Bordeaux Rastafarian Vegan Food Fair! The fairgrounds were bustling with activity, featuring vendors lining both sides of the marketplace offering a wide variety of products and creations. From herbal and natural healthcare items to trees, plants, wood carvings, paintings, and even livestock, there was something for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights of the event was my visit to my friend’s booth, where he was selling his chickens and sharing valuable information about the importance of rebuilding the local Cornish Hen population. The fair also featured a fun and unique "coal-pot lighting competition," where participants raced to light their pots and bring a kettle to a boil faster than their competitors—an exciting nod to traditional Caribbean cooking methods. The atmosphere was filled with positive vibes, delicious vegan food, and great company. I had a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones along the way. This event is always a highlight of the year, and I’m already looking forward to attending next year’s fair!
