👋 We're Adam and Val, otherwise known as Bantha Overland. We're on a mission is to inspire and enable more people to experience the restorative power of overland based exploration, living, community, and play. Our channel explores how we prepare, explore, and connect with other overlanders while traveling in western North America. We're also passionate about making tools to help us on our journeys, creating field inspired field tested gear mainly via 3D printing. Our current rig is a 2021 Ford F-350 SuperDuty with a Hallmark Guanella pop-up truck camper mounted on a Highway Products flatbed with workboxes. We call it Bantha. Why Bantha? Similar to the fictional animals, Banthas are trusted partners for transportation in harsh and challenging environments. We feel it's a fitting name for a rig designed primarily for exploring backroads and dispersed camping along the way.
