It suffered bird strikes into both engines shortly after take-off. The pilots, captain Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger and first officer Jeff Skiles had to perform an emergency landing on the Hudson River on Januar y 15th, 2009. Everyone on board was able to evacuate the Airbus A320 and survived.
