Also, at least for me, i would create these geo ip based filtering rules anyway since i like having as much control as possible. if i have a firewall rule in front of me, then i am more in control. i can see the hits and if i need to, i can change the rule to Allow and not Deny. Overall, Synology has remained very consistent in their design language not just here in SRM firewall section but throughout their entire product lines. everything is very familiar and if you understand Synology's design language, you will have no problem understanding their way of doing firewall rules in SRM 1.3.
