Welcome to Crime Watch Daily Update Breifings: Today we're looking back at the disappearance of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy, a case Crime Watch Daily covered in 2018. The teen girl had been missing since 2013, and her family wanted answers. In August 2013, Alexis went on Twitter to tell her friends she was heading out on a road trip. But somewhere along the way, Murphy vanished. Nearly 7 years after her disappearance, In Dec. 2020, Alexis Murphy's remains were discovered in Lovingston, Virginia, and positively identified.
