Teens Lead Police on Intense High-Speed Chase with a Shocking Ending

Two teenagers were arrested after allegedly being involved in a high-speed, stolen vehicle chase and stashing a weapon later found and shot by a 5-year-old child. The teens, both aged 15, were allegedly caught on dashcam video bailing out of a stolen truck as the driver sped on, according to the Lea County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies caught up with the teens and later found a loaded magazine in a trash can before a caller reported that a child had found snf fired a gun in the same area the boys were found in. The child managed to fire one round into a neighbor’s outdoor refrigerator, but was otherwise unharmed, deputies said. The two teens are facing multiple charges while deputies continue searching for the driver.
