I want to be clear and transparent. I have checked the box that this is a Sponsored Video, however, i have not been paid for this review. Terramaster requested the 2 Bay NAS review in the summer of 2024. They sent the device, and it sat in my office for months, unopened and untouched. They then requested a review of the 4 Bay NAS. When I received it, I believed the 2 Bay to be an add-on USB device. It is, however, a full NAS on it's own. I have combined the reviews of both of these products. I have not been paid for this review, nor has Terramaster been able to review this video or its contents before its full and public publication on YouTube. Terramaster has had no input on the content of this review. The opinions in this review are mine, and mine alone. I additionally stipulated that Terramaster would need to provide a return label for these devices in order to return them after the review is complete. This review is a continuation of my search for solid, low-power, hardware that can support a homelab or business, while running Open Source software.
