The "Clean Architecture" was introduced by Robert C Martin, aka Uncle Bob, in 2012. Martin is author to many bestselling books and the SOLID principles of object-oriented programming (OOP). This architecture is the combination of others architectures and solutions into a single diagram. In fact, we will notice that the "Clean Architecture" diagram is extremely similar to the "Onion Architecture" diagram by Jeffrey Palermo. It has also elements of the "Hexagonal Architecture" by Alistair Cockburn.
