A failed render means you would have got this on the night of the 27th had my machine not suffered an aneurysm at 70%. March 2015 is a month, that alongside January 1999, August 2001, September 2006, December 2011 and June 2016, can be considered a strong contender for the single worst month in Top Gear history, especially given how its creator, Derek Smith, passed away on the 17th. On the night of the 4th, the fracas would occur with the programme breaking down internally over the next few days, the general population blissfully unaware of their harrowing plight. The 9th would see Clarkson's suspension before his inevitable firing on the 25th with the BBC caring little for potential future profit, but rather a lesson it wanted to dish out towards its most despised (yet highest paid) personality. Over the course of close to 2 hours, Gearknob attempts to recount the entire ordeal in full during its 10th anniversary and come to a conclusion over who, if anyone, was truly at fault. This video, as I stated elsewhere, is one that makes me quite nervous to release because of some particular individuals and the acts they did around the time of the fracas which I feel caused unnecessary aggravation, which I report on. There's one individual I name in particular who I feel might launch retaliatory action for the unsympathetic view I take towards her, and in case she does, here's a message just for her. You had multiple opportunities to shut your mouth when it would have been a good choice for you to make, but you decided to go the way you did and you must realise the ramifications your actions may yield, whether immediately, or 10 years later. I am not afraid to talk disparagingly about you because it is a right I believe I have as a video documentarian and as a British citizen. You tried to destroy a programme myself and 300 million others adored, and you can't honestly have expected no-one to have become rightfully indignated over your personal and professional choices to mire yourself in such a beef, all because not a single person wanted to watch your boring self-insert movies where you yet again triumph over a pastiche of a supposedly 'bigoted' casting director who passed over you in the real world and denied you of the career you felt you were owed. I despised you in 2014, and I still hold a strong degree of reserved resentment over you today. Because people like you cannot produce anything of genuine artistic merit; all you know is to tear down the hard work of others. You're just leeches who like making other people miserable for your own perverse pleasure by taking away their fun, and for that I hold no respect for you. I would also like to mention that I am slightly worried over the future of this channel, for those paying attention to the British news cycle, given that OFCOM now wants to police online media channels who fall afoul of their present agenda, whatever that may be. This is not an admission that the content I produce is not up to their standard, but I pledge that I will fight these censorious killjoys if it ever comes to that. Any complaints WILL be thrown directly in the bin to any employees who may be reading this, so file them at your peril. Finally, I would like to thank YouTube for temporarily restricting my channel from using "advanced features" and impeding the upload of this video as a result despite the fact it has over 10m channel views and close to 50k subscribers. Sorted now but makes me seriously wonder what else I needed to do to avoid that happening in the first place. Thank you all again for your kind support.
