Welcome to the Ghosts of Hampton Court Palace (Some images are for illustration only) #ghosts #haunted #ghoststories #history Today, we are going on a journey to look at a number of ghost stories connected with the spectacular and historic Hampton Court Palace. This beautiful, sprawling royal residence on the banks of the River Thames is reputedly one of the most haunted locations in the UK. This magnificent palace is inextricably linked to Henry VIII and his six wives, but this is a palace with a haunted reputation. Who haunts the Wolsey rooms? Why do ghostly figures roam the palace’s vast corridors? Who haunts Fountain Court? Who is the mysterious lady in grey? In the post-script, I will talk about a bit of an odd incident that happened to me there in September 2024. Some of the stories focus on historical events, and I hope you feel that my video covers the sad side of history in a respectful and honest way without sensationalising the past.
