The government has also failed to protect old-growth forests and the endangered species that live there. In this video, I explain how we got here and how we can find our way back. The world is a complicated place, but we seem to be addicted to easy solutions that sometimes have unintended consequences. At the same time, we can't be afraid of unintended consequences to the point where we never try anything, then nothing get's better either. What we really need is gather data and be aware of the potential unintended consequences and then be number and make adjustments to lessen the impact. As a country we are so gridlocked that this seems impossible, but I hope that one day we can get to the point where we can have representatives that truly represent us and not just their party/donors. Representatives who have adjust and make the changes that we need to have the life we want.
