Writer-director Parker Finn returns to helm Smile 2, picking up where the first film left off. This time, we’re introduced to pop superstar Skye Riley, played by Naomi Scott, who is trying to rebuild her career after a personal and public meltdown. Following a car accident that killed her boyfriend Paul, Skye has been fighting her demons. Clean and sober, she’s now preparing for a comeback world tour, but things quickly spiral out of control when she becomes the latest victim of the malevolent entity from the first film.
