Three Indian nationals were picked up by Ghana’s National Security, working with the new GoldBod task force. Their names were Goutam Katriya, a thirty-five-year-old businessman, Miraj Sarvaych, just twenty-two years old, and forty-two-year-old Manash Damani. Investigations revealed that the three were operating under a company called Unique MM. On paper, the company belonged to a Ghanaian named Musah Salifu. But according to the authorities, Musah was only a front. The real owner and operator was one of the suspects, Goutam Katriya, who used Musah’s name to hide his involvement. The house they used as their base was located near Atinga Junction at Ahodwo in Kumasi. It looked like a normal residential house from the outside. But inside, the building had been converted into a secret gold trading center.
