It's my theory that the player of Elder Scrolls games inhabits the role of "The Missing God" The world of the Elder Scrolls leverages its special attention to in-universe literature, stories, theories, and theology to create a particular depth often unremarked upon by even the most "immersion" chasing of players. I thought I'd explore it here, using a theory I came up with. Tragic that the Oblivon remaster came out just soon enough after this that I couldn't use it for visuals. If there's enough demand, I can release the script book as a mod for Morrowind. Edit: I think there's some given the view count this video is getting.
