■ NAPLES, ITALY: Famous, yet not getting anywhere near the attention from tourists that Venice, Florence and Rome gets, Napoli is the most underrated city in Italy. Since it has been 7 years since I visited the city which invented pizza, deified Diego Maradona and is surrounded crystal clear Mediterranean waters you can dive into direct from your AirBnb, a Napoli excursion was long overdue. Plus I wanted to see the ancient mummified city of Pompeii with the world's greatest fresco collection again which is easy to do as it's only a 30 min drive or metro ride away from downtown Napoli.
