Twenty years ago, The Polar Express film adaptation came out. Tom Hanks starred as half the cast in this Robert Zemeckis Christmas movie that charmed a generation of children...and annoyed a lot of people. Or horrified them with its horrific CGI motion capture animation. Now, after twenty years, let's re-evaluate this film. I propose that The Polar Express is one of the worst Christmas movies of all time, but not because of the nightmare inducing animation.
