A similar technique will also be employed with spot-clean and delicate fabrics but we’ll have specific suggestions for the latter. So make a solution of cool water and a mild detergent. Dab it onto the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then soak the entire garment in a solution of tepid water and Woolite or a comparable detergent before handwashing and air-drying. 07:58 Old Coffee Stains Dried coffee stains can prove to be particularly stubborn. So consider soaking a set-in stain in cool water for several hours to reactivate it.
