The goal here is to make the lid come forward while minimising the crease of the eye (ie - creating more depth). To do this three shades are needed. A light shade, a medium (mid-tone) shade and a contour shade (deeper than the mid-tone). These three shades give the eye the illusion its more open, bright and limited. Final touch is lashes.
