President Donald Trump addressed the federal indictment of former FBI Director James Comey on Friday, telling reporters, "there will be others" who face justice. Trump slammed Comey, saying he's a "radical leftist" and accused the former FBI director of weaponizing the Justice Department. "They weaponized the Justice Department like nobody in history. What they've done is terrible," Trump said. "You can't let this happen to a country." Comey was charged Thursday with lying to Congress in a criminal case filed days after President Donald Trump appeared to urge his attorney general to prosecute the former FBI director and other perceived political enemies. The indictment makes Comey the first former senior government official involved in one of Trump's chief grievances, the long-concluded investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, to face prosecution.
