The things you’re supposed to have, the ways you’re meant to act, and the standards you’re expected to live up to. They’re presented as obvious truths, so normal that most people never even stop to question them. But in my journey, I have realized that many of those so-called needs aren’t really needs at all. They’re distractions. They pull you away from the kind of life you actually want and keep you stuck chasing things that don’t give you much in return. In this video, I share 7 of those “needs” that I’ve chosen to say no to. Some of them are subtle, hidden in daily habits or in the way we compare ourselves to others. Others are bigger, shaping how we see success and what we think a good life should look like. The goal here isn’t to tell you how to live, or to reject everything. It’s simply to question whether these “essentials” really serve you.
