So in this weeks free garden rescue i attempt to bring this property back to it's former glory in 2009 as shown on google images! Alan was now relying on his step daughter to maintain the garden but being over 1 hour away and also working 2 jobs, it had become too hard to stay on top of. This job took me 6 days to finish as it was very hot and i had to take lots of small breaks because my Iphone was overheating. I mowed the lawns twice to make sure it had a nice finish. I had to borrow my friends whipper snipper to get the borders and driveway done as mine is waiting for a service! The garden beds alone took me one day each and there were 2 of them! With lots of varieties of plants among them. I mention a few of the plants in the yard so i hope maybe you can learn some new names of some plants! Another cool thing i don't mention in the video is that i met a neighbour who was doing all the nature strips along the street for everyone with his son! And he was also doing it all for free!! But not even for a video! So good people really do exist! I hope you guys enjoy the video and let me know if you think i managed a decent job at getting this place back to its 2009 glory!
