She forgets, however, to check the sign-up sheet at the Café and schedules it for the same night as Blueberry is scheduled to read to the baby Berrykins. Strawberry tells Plum she cannot hold the recital in the Café on her chosen day because the Café is booked. Plum asks her if Blueberry can switch days but Strawberry tells Plum that her rule is that you must sign up for the time and Plum never did. Strawberry offers to help her redo the invitations but Plum is miffed and brushes her off.
