This begins with an overview of the Tyranid Species and their Hive Fleets which have begun to overrun the galaxy. We then look at the various bioforms which accompany the stages of a planetary invasion. The first phase is one of reconaissance. Here we discuss the lictors, leapers, and genestealers which are commonly sent to udnermine and gather intelligence about a target. The second phase is one of islation. Here the appraoching Hive Fleet will blanket the region in the vast Shadow in the Warp which will block communication and travel. The third phase is the first assault wave. Here dropships, spores, and combat forms will reing down on the planet to secure key objectives in anticipation of a major assault upon hardened positions.
