In part 1 we focused on the initial stages of infiltration and isolation of a target planet. This included a review of the Tyranid bioforms set to rain down upon a planet from the Rippers to the Gaunts and Warriors. Now we set the stage for their main assault. In part 2 we begin with a review of the Imperial Guard army and its fortifications. We then cover the Tyranid assault upon its various fronts. This includes the deployment of monstrous units such as the Tyranid Carnifex.
