As a man of the people, I listened! Over the course of one full-on gluttonous day of eating, Daniel, Humberto, and I went out to discover the best tacos Tijuana, Mexico has to offer. This is definitely one of the best things to do in Tijuana if you ever make the trip! Maybe just pace yourself. We started the day with Birria tacos with bone marrow. I still think about these tacos when I wake up in the morning. Next we went for chile relleno tacos in downtown Tijuana. These were an entire meal in one brave tortilla. Rice, beans, stuffed pepper, scrambled eggs, and all the salsas on this beast. From Tijuana's city hall location, we went to Tacos A Vapor (steamed tacos) for some potato and chicharron tacos in Tijuana's Otay area. These are similar to tacos de canasta (basket tacos) in Mexico City and other places around Mexico. After Tacos a Vapor, it was over to El Mazateño, one of Tijuana's best places to eat seafood tacos like the spicy shrimp and crispy octopus taco (with cheese)! We took a quick taco timeout for sweet raspados (Mexican shaved ice), and then went to Tacos "La Glorieta" in the Solar neighborhood of Tijuana. Last but certainly not least, one of the most popular taco recommendations in Tijuana, Mexico was Tacos El Franc for Adobada and Carne Asada tacos. The perfect finish to this incredible day of Mexican Street Food here in Tijuana!!
