About

I am Dequitem, an armoured fighter and filmer of non-choreographed knight fights like those: For combat sports the rule is: "You will fight the way you train, so train the way you want to fight". This principle applies to my training as well as to my short films. On my channel you will not find choreographies, but exclusively sparring fights and duels at full speed and with full power and historical techniques, whose aim is to kill effectively. For these duels I travel through Europe to historical places and cinematic landscapes and I am for you, fighter, director, cameraman, sounddesigner, editor and much more. I ask for your support for my elaborate shootings and safe equipment. Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user/membership?u=80869366

Video Description

In a fight between an unarmoured man and a knight in full armour, the outcome is already predetermined. The probability of winning without armour is very low. In our unarmoured duels, Philipp Lechner in the role of the unarmoured fencing master only won one out of five duels, and only because I lost my dagger at the start of the fight and couldn't get the full potential out of my armour. Although I had to slow down my thrusts and blows and wrestling to avoid killing my fencing partner, it was very close on several occasions. Philipp Lechner is a multiple German longsword fencing champion and one of the best fencers in the world, but unarmored against an armored knight his chances were very low. To limit the risk of injuries I used a save training weapon von dominus gladius in these non-choreographed duels: https://dominusgladius.com/poleks-ver.1/ Philipp Lechner used the safe Sigi Montante sword: https://sigiforge.com/products/sigi-montante/ Support me on patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/user/membership?u=80869366
